Eimear's Engagement Party
What to cook for engagement party at home?
Exactly a week ago, we attended a home-engagement party. I must say there is something special when you host family and friends in your home. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, birthday, canapes party – whatever the occasion it is, if it’s at home, it means its personal. So, the question is – what is better than having all the people you love at your house for a meal? Well, I guess, to have someone else cook for you, right? And, that’s when we come in.
James has been a chef for years, and he is still in the profession. I, on the other hand, have no idea about industry, but I am always more than happy to follow his instructions. And, there was no difference this time.
Eimear is Lucy’s friend (you can read what we cooked for her birthday house-party here), and she contacted us to help her with her engagement party at her home. Eimear want to have different canapés, and James carefully created the menu for her.
We reached her house at 9.00 am and start preparing the food. Every time we work together, as a team of chefs, I have quite an easy job. I just had to do what I been told, or how I like to say it – I just follow James’ passion. The results that come out of our catering jobs are very pleasant, for both us and for our client. We both personally feel that we love to please people and that is visible from whatever we do.
During our preparation, before the guests arrive, we take pictures of what we do. We believe that your special moment should be captured on photos as well. I hope you enjoy the gallery as much as we enjoyed preparing this food. And, if you like our work, please feel free to share your thoughts about it with your friends. At the end of the day, you never know who might be hosting a house-party next and might need a team of two chefs who can cook delicious food and take beautiful pictures.
Many congratulations to Eimear and Garry for their engagement.
